Le Mauricia is ideally
situated in the North West of the Island in the heart of Grand Baie,
only moments away from the fishing village with a variety of restaurants,
tempting boutiques and discotheques. The perfect setting and location
for those getting married in Mauritius, this vibrant resort has a total
of 195 rooms including 2 suites. Family apartments provide accommodation
in two rooms, one for the parents and one for the children. They have
very good en-suite facilities off both rooms and a large terrace.

are sea facing and have a balcony or terrace where you can sit and watch
the perpetual movement of the yachts, pirogues and pleasure craft sailing
in the bay.
The resort
is 47 miles from the airport which involves a transfer time of about
1 hour 10 minutes and it is 14 miles from the capital , Port Louis.

Dining
Guests can
choose to dine in two restaurants. Le Grand Baie is the main restaurant
overlooking the pool. It offers tropical American style breakfasts,
serving everything from fruit and cereals to cooked breakfasts, and
dinners of themed buffets and set menus. The buffets cater for different
tastes and offer buffets such as Chinese, Mauritian, Indian and the
Fisherman's Buffet.
Le Palmier,
built on split levels, is the beach restaurant that provides an intimate
atmosphere for dining. In this tropical cafe seafood is the speciality.
The restaurant is open every day for lunch and serves a variety of pizzas,
sandwiches and salads as well as grilled lobster, calamari steak and
tiger prawns, to name but a few.

Le Palmier
is open on three evenings a week for dinner. Here guests can choose
from gastronomic delights on the à la carte menu or enjoy the lavish
set menu.
Entertainment
At this vibrant
resort, the entertainment varies each day and includes a live band -
great to dance to. This lively
atmosphere is carried through to the sporting activities, with energetic
instructors available for water-skiing and windsurfing. There are also
pedalos, kayaks, sailboats and glass bottom boats available. There are
numerous other sporting facilities available for the more energetic,
including tennis courts, a gymnasium and a volleyball court.
Watersports
Deep sea
fishing, scuba diving and catamaran cruises are available at additional
cost. There is also a golf practice net, and a practice green.
For those
who enjoy gardening there are tropical gardens to explore. After a hard
day relax and unwind by the pool .
For people
keen to see more of the Island there are several excursions planned
throughout your stay. Shopping fans can visit Port Louis and Grand Baie
to see the wide variety of jewellery and craft shops as well as the
Mauritius Shopping Paradise, offering duty-free goods.
