white sand bordering the turquoise blue waters of the

Swimming Pool
The large swimming pool, with a paddling pool for young
children, is surrounded by an inviting terrace, where

Water Sports
Free-of-charge: windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaks (single
and double), sailing, apnoea diving, glass bottom boat
rides and water skiing.

A regular bus service operates past Merville Beach,
with a bus stop in front of the hotel. The bus takes about
20 minutes to reach Pamplemousses Garden and about 30
minutes to arrive at Port-Louis. Every half-hour, an Express
bus runs from the centre of Grand Baie to Port-Louis.
Merville Beach -
weddings
We shall make arrangements
that the hotel staff discuss all
arrangements with you well in advance and are there to
guide you through your special day, which many couple
choose to start with a massage or beauty treatment or
a session with the hairdresser.
Weddings,
conducted by a Civil Official, are organised in wonderful
tropical surroundings, either in the Garden Court or on
the beach. After a photo session, there is a special aperitif
at the Bar, followed by a romantic candlelit dinner, either
on the beach itself or at a special table in the restaurant.
On wedding days, the Resort offers a wedding cake and
a special marriage menu, as well, of course, as a bottle
of bubbly. The morning after, there is a special breakfast
on your own terrace.
To
make your holiday even more romantic, honeymooners and
wedding couples can opt for a whole range of extras, including,
Sega dancers and French champagne.
